Puttur: Praveen Nettaru murder – NIA tracks whereabouts of killers hiding overseas

Puttur, Jan 29: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has reportedly received a clue about the accused, who assisted the murderers of BJP leader Praveen Nettaru,, hiding overseas.

It is learnt that the process is underway to arrest two of them and bring them back to India.

A reward of Rs 5 lac each was declared by NIA for any clue on Mohammed Mustafa S and Tufail M H, members of banned PFI.

Similarly, a reward of Rs 2 lac each has been announced for any clue on Ummer Farukh and Aboobacker Siddique and Rs 10 lac for information on Shariff and K A Masood.

Information is available through sources that NIA has already arrested five out of the six absconding accused. However, it is not known whether the five were found in India or overseas. NIA has received a tip off that Shariff and K A Masood are hiding in Saudi Arabia and that process is underway to bring them back to India. Information about one more accused is not available.
