Sullia: BJP youth leader hacked to death by Kerala bike-borne duo

Sullia, Jul 26: A BJP youth leader, Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death with lethal weapons in taluk's Bellare by an unidentified  bike-borne duo on Tuesday, July 26 night.

Praveen was shutting down his poultry shop when he was brutally attacked.

He had just downed the shutter of his shop when he saw two persons on a KL registered motorbike charging towards him.  He ran towards the neighbouring shop in a bid to escape but the duo struck his head with a long knife and fled the scene.

Praveen was found lying in a pool of blood and while being shifted to a private hospital he succumbed.

The deceased was active in politics. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. It is said that he was involved in a matter in Kalanja's Vishnunagar a few days ago.

It may be recalled that just a week ago, a Muslim youth was murdered in Bellare.

A tense situatin prevailed in Bellare after the murder and the police had to resort to shutting down all shops, establishments and hotels in the area amid protests by people.

    First of all Killing is unacceptable. Police should catch the culprit and put behind bars. Secondly whenever a hindu got killed, following things will happen automatically. 1) Media blames PFI & SDPI and broadcast news 24x7. 2) There will be debate over the murder.3) Politicians will comes to action and put more fuel to fire 4) Hindu organizations call for bandh 5)Muslim shops will be targetted. 6) Hate and provocation speeches will be common. 7) Govt will sanction lakhs of rupees only if the dead one is Hindu. 8) Shobakka will call for Ban on PFI & SDPI. 9)Promod mutalik will be in action. 10) Police will find the culprit. 11)Culprit is a Hindu and belongs to sangh parivar. 12)Media will be silent 13)Hindu leaders will sit quietly. One thing people need to understand that this is only a political tactics of BJP. Politicians doesnt care about any members life. They just play their card and gain votebank.
