Beltangady: HC refuses request to order reinvestigation into Sowjanya's death

Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady, Jan 28: The state high court (HC) has refused to order Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to reinvestigate the case of the death of Sowjanya, a student of SDM College, Ujire, who was allegedly raped.

An application moved in this connection by Chandappa Gowda, father of the victim, was turned down on Wednesday January 27 by a single judge bench of the high court chaired by Justice K Somashekhar.

The high court observed that the local police, criminal investigation department and the CBI had conducted a probe into the case and CBI has already filed charge sheet.

Witnesses are being examined in the CBI special court. The investigation conducted by the CBI is proper and justified. Medical test has confirmed that Santosh Rao was involved with the crime. Unless the applicant furnishes additional evidence, the case that has already been investigated by the CBI cannot be ordered to be investigated afresh, the bench stated.

The high court upheld petitions filed by Dheeraj Jain, Uday Jain and Mallik Jain, questioning the move of the CBI special court to include them as additional accused and serving them summons. It cancelled the summons and annulled the order issued by the judge of the CBI special court to reinvestigate the case.

The power of justice is shaking in the hands of influence and money. Justice has been slaughtered. The pain of losing a child only parents will understand...others will simply hit disagree, untill such thing does not happen in their homes...god bless her parents...! OM SHANTHI SOWJANYA 🙏

Very true; they have made a destitute mentally unstable person the scapegoat; any fool will understand that he could not have committed the crime!

As you said, those who disagree will only know when such misfortune knocks on their doors!

1.When Almighty God judging the Sin, that time NO defense NO Plaintiff. For his judgement NO appeal.
2.Human can blind the others with his Political and money Power. But he cant blind Almighty.
3.Almighty God never holding wages of deeds / Karma. It may be late, but he will give with Compound Interest.
4.Justice is delayed or denied by Court of Law. But Almighty never denied the justice and its effect is deadly.

Innocent girl blood screaming from earth to Heaven....Culprit may be escaped from Indian Law NOT from divine Law.

It seems like that. Most of the rape cases are either by politicians or by the people who have links with politicians and they get easy escape from law.

As our legal system does not follow your book, it is expected that you may not like it. With the abolition of triple talaq, you are sure to be disappointed and to lose faith which you never had!
