Daijiworld Media Network - Kundapur

Kundapur, Oct 22: DYFI conducted a protest in a bid to demand the Sowjanya’s rape and murder case be handed over to the CBI at Jundapur near Shastri Circle.

Addressing the protest DYFI leader Suresh Kallaghara said “The state government is delaying the case instead of  sending it to the  CBI. The chief minister is misleading people by saying that  currently he will not provide this case to CBI."

"Some of the holy seers have also forgotten about Sowjanya. They all must join in the support and demand that the government hand over this case CBI. The DYFI is not aiming for vested interest nor is it against any individual or institution. But this fight is in favor of justice." he said.

H Narasimha also spoke on this occasion.
