Dubai, Jun 30: The Dubai municipality earlier today updated that all mosques in Dubai have been completely sterilized. The authority carried out the sterilization in cooperation with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities.

In a video posted by the authorities in social media forums, it can be seen that thorough sterilization was carried out from the steps leading inside the doorways, framework, and prayer rooms. Sterilization teams could be seen wearing protective gear while sterilizing the holy place of worship.

The massive sterilization was carried out after the announcement was made that mosques would be permitted to reopen once again beginning from the first day of the next month, Wednesday, July 1.

The Dubai Municipality has appealed to all the members of the public to strictly follow the safety guidelines issued by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities department for the safety of the community.
