Fifty years ago I entered the portals of then known BEMTheological Seminary, now known as Karnataka Theological College in Mangalore. It shaped my life and vocation all these 50 years not only nationally but also internationally for the ministry and mission of the church in various fields. Due to the valuable contributions of the missionaries and visionaries of the past, today it has grown into a mega academy with varied educational and institutional projects connected with it. Those who led and served those institutions were not only an inspiration but also agents of transformation of the ministry and mission of the church. Into their legacy and shoes today Rev Dr Honeybal Cabral steped in.

And I want to send my prayerful best wishes and God’s guidance and blessings to him to the task that was laid on his shoulders. He is a competent, well qualified and a gifted personality for this responsibility and with the help of all his talented associates, I have sure confidence that he and all will take KACES into a new level in academic excellence and other devoted and dedicated activities. I wish to Rev Dr Cabral and all of them bright era ahead! God bless!
