Maranello, Jun 3: Ferrari have secured the long-term future of Charles Leclerc after the Monaco driver signed a new multi-year contract extension with the Formula One team.
The Italian outfit confirmed the agreement on Wednesday, ensuring that Leclerc will continue to represent Scuderia Ferrari beyond the current season.
In an official statement, Ferrari announced the renewal of its partnership with the 28-year-old driver, underlining the team's continued faith in one of Formula One's leading talents.

The extension marks another chapter in a relationship that began in 2016 when Leclerc joined the Ferrari Driver Academy. After winning the Formula 2 championship in 2017 and making his Formula One debut the following year, he earned a promotion to Ferrari's senior team in 2019.
Since then, Leclerc has established himself as one of the team's most important drivers, securing multiple race victories, pole positions and podium finishes while emerging as a key figure in Ferrari's modern era.
Although Ferrari are still chasing their first drivers' championship since 2007, the team has consistently backed Leclerc as a central part of its long-term project.
Widely regarded as one of the fastest qualifiers in Formula One, Leclerc has earned a reputation as one of the sport's elite competitors and remains a cornerstone of Ferrari's ambitions for future success.
The new deal further strengthens Leclerc's bond with the Maranello-based team, where he progressed from academy prospect to race winner and team leader.
Leclerc already ranks among Ferrari's most experienced Formula One drivers and is second only to seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher on the team's all-time list of pole positions.
The contract extension comes as a significant boost for Ferrari and its supporters, reaffirming the team's commitment to building its future around the Monegasque star.
