Udupi, May 21: The president and the members of Udupi Sri Admar Math Education Council, Bangalore, organized a students’ interaction programme with Bharat Ratna Dr C N R Rao on Wednesday May 21 at Prajna Hall, Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi.

Dr Rao was also felicitated by Sri Vishwapriyateertha Swamiji of Admar Math, at Kunjargiri Temple, here.

In his speech, Dr Rao said, “Now, Modi-led government is coming to power. He is intent on developing our nation. I hope that he will make contributions to the field of science and technology. I had sent many appeals to the government for developing science but they did not bother to address my concerns.”

He further said, “IT students have sound knowledge but they are not strong enough to tolerate the pressure physically and mentally. So, most of the suicides that happen are by IT students. In India, there are many industrialists but no one is contributing to the advancement of science. So, the new government must focus on collecting money from industrialists for progressive purposes.”

He said that money is not always more important than science and education.

He expressed happiness over his experiments in science. “India’s future and science are the same. If they forget this, no development will happen. It is my desire that India stand first in science and education,” said Dr Rao referring to the developed countries.

He added that he believes courage, zeal, and inspiration were obtained only from Madhwa principles. Sri Sugunendratheertha Swamiji blessed the gathering and offered the silver chariot to Sri Durgadevi, Kunjargiri.

DC Muddumohan also spoke on the occasion.

Hemavati Rao, K Shri Hari, Jayachandra, and Madhavi V Bhandari were present on the auspicious occasion.

Dr. Rao is right. All these 65 years we only tried to give things FREE, this free, that free, which means we got only a small fish, but did not get the expertise/education on how to fish...which was vital.
Dear New Govt, our Youth dont want anything free, they need education, job creative infrastructure and industry, research in science, expand manufacturing base, increase higher education/research facilities, stop brain drain, retain the highly professionals, the creators of employment who migrate and create employment elsewhere, since they are not valued in their own place. We lost such people in plenty in these years.. We need a new thinking people in the Govt. We need futuristic education. We must stop our youth looking at elsewhere as a source of livelihood. Give sustained opportunities and all will be on their plate. Nothing is FREE in this World. All has a cost.. Let us wake up and work to transform India into a industrial and economic power, rest all will surely fall in place.... Jai Hind, Sathyameva Jayathe....

INTERVENTION)DELIVERED ANY PRODUCT/SERVICE `FIRST TIME AT RIGHT TIME WITH COMMERCIAL & FINANCIAL VIABILITY`(I DON`T NEED REASONS).LOOK AT `ANTHERIXA DEAL` & MORAL OF SCIENTISTS.STATE FUNDS THE ROJ ROTI OF THESE SCIENTISTS & THEY WORK FOR THE INTEREST OF PVT. CORPORATES IN THE FIELD & PASS ON THE FRUIT OF THEIR EFFORTS TO CRONY`S?
