Recipes - Caramel Chicken


1/2 Kg chicken (without skin – preferably drum sticks)
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
2 tbsp pepper powder
Salt to taste
Juice of 1 lime
5 tbsp honey
Olive oil for frying


Cook chicken until it turns tender on slow fire without adding water and set aside.  Mix ginger and garlic paste with pepper powder, salt, lime juice and honey.  Marinate the boiled chicken in the honey mixture and leave aside for couple of hours. Later, shallow fry the chicken in olive oil until it turns golden brown. Serve hot as a starter. You may adjust pepper and honey as per your taste.
