Recipes - Tamarind or Coriander Leaves Gojju

Ingredients:

3 long red chillies
Lime sized ball of tamarind
2" jaggery
1 small bunch of coriander leaves
½ tsp.oil
Salt as per taste

Seasoning:

1 tbsp. coconut oil
½ tsp. mustard
Few curry leaves

Method:

Heat oil in a pan and fry chillies. In a chutney jar coarsely powder the chillies. Add jaggery and tamarind and grind. Lastly add coriander leaves and grind. Add little water if reqd. Add salt as per taste.

In a seasoning pan , heat oil and splutter mustard. Add curry leaves. Pour this seasoning over gojju.

Note : This could be stored in the refrigerator for a week. (Use dry spoon to serve gojju).
