Mangaluru: DC transfer - Kota Poojary says no politics, normal process

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Jul 29: Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, clarified that the deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district, Sindhu B Rupesh, was transferred in the normal course. He criticised those who are trying to politicise the measure.

"MLA U T Khader, has said that the officer was transferred because of political considerations. Khader should withdraw his statement. This has been done in the normal course during the routine exercise of officers’ transfers. The department of home has registered case against people who posed threat to the deputy commissioner," he pointed out.

Poojary, issuing clarification about the transfer of the deputy commissioner, recollected that when U T Khader was the minister, threats to police officers, and attacks used to occur. He reminded Khader that times have changed and he is not in charge.

Previous day's order to punish those who assault cattle transporters and the transfer of DC are just coincidental. God promise! It is a routine transfer. Finally, all is well that ends well.

Mr. Poojary, If it’s normal, the transfer should take place once 3 years. In the instant case, it’s within 10 months. Or if it has taken place in the normal course, as highlighted by you, please let us know what’s the normal period of transfer according to you?

These politicians use educated IAS officers as their tools at their will. Law should be brought in for hanging such politicians. Why are MLAs snd MPs allowed to continue for full term? why cant they also be sacked and new ones brought in? Anyway most of them have zero contribution to society..
Only thing they do is to create some image and advertise for themselves.
