Recipes - Chiroti Rava Roti

Ingredients:

1 cup chiroti rava
1 cup water
1 tsp. salt or as per taste
Little maida/ flour ( for dusting)
Oil or ghee ( optional)

Method:

Bring water to a boil in a thick bottomed vessel adding salt . Remove from fire. Now add chiroti rava and keep stirring continuously. The mixture should be lump free. Set it aside to cool. Knead the rava mixture once cooled. Make lime sized balls. Dip them in flour, flatten and roll them on a board dusted with enough flour with a roller pin into thin rotis. The rolling has to be gentle to avoid breaking of the rotis. Heat a non sitck pan and carefully place the roti on the pan and fry on both sides till slightly puffed up.

Sprinkle oil/ghee (optional).

Serve hot with onion chutney. (For Onion Chutney recipe CLICK HERE)
