Recipes - Beef Fry

Ingredients:
½ kg. beef cut into small pieces
½ cup coconut cut into small cubes
2 onions cut lengthwise
2 green chilies cut lengthwise
4 cloves
½ ” cinnamon
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp. oil
Salt to taste

Masala to powder:
1 tsp. Jeera
2 tsp. coriander
2 tsp. pepper
4 cloves
½ ” cinnamon

Method:
Dry roast the ingredients mentioned in “ Masala to powder “ till you get a nice aroma. Powder the roasted ingredients. Mix the beef cubes with ginger and garlic paste, cloves, cinnamon, vinegar and the powdered masala with salt as per taste. Pressure cook the beef with little water until tender and then set aside for one hour.

Heat a non-stick pan with oil.  Add the chilies and onions and fry till the onions turn pink. Now add the coconut pieces and fry till slightly brown. Add the cooked beef and keep on fire till the water dries.

    This receipe is yammy, coz I tried it myself. Should have this with dry chapatis, it is a nice combination. It could also be a starter I guess. Thanks daijie for this wonderful colomn for food lovers & and also for few who love trying out new receipes.
