Recipes - Rice Rotti
1 cup cooked rice (boiled or raw)
½ cup rice flour
Salt as per taste
Grind cooked rice adding salt. (Add 2 tsp of water incase if too sticky). Add rice flour and grind again or mix with your hands well. Once combined, knead the mixture well with moist hands. Roll thin rottis sprinkling rice flour. Heat a tava. Sprinkle little water and wipe it off with a kitchen towel. Place the raw rotti on the hot tava. Smear little water with moist finger tips on the surface of the rotti. Flip the rotti once small bubbles are seen. Later press the rotti with back of the spoon or a presser until it puffs up. Flip and cook until both sides are evenly done.
