Recipes - Macaroni in Thick Sauce

250 gms. macaroni ( any shape)
100 gms. fresh mushrooms ( chopped)
15-20 medium prawns
2 chicken sausages ( cut lengthwise/ round)
100 gms. boneless chicken (cubed)
1 maggie chicken cube ( optional)
½ tsp. pepper powder
3 large tomatoes
1 small onion
4 flakes garlic
¼ “ ginger
1 green chilly
3 -4 tbsp. fresh cream
¼ tsp. oregano
2 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. corn flour
3-4 tbsp. grated mozzarella cheese (optional)
3-4 tbsp. olive oil / butter
Salt as per taste.
Cook macaroni in boiling water adding salt and 2 tbsp. olive oil until soft. Drain and run cold water over it and set it aside.
Place the tomatoes in boiling water for 2 minutes. Peel the tomatoes and grind into a smooth paste along with onion, garlic, ginger and green chilly.
In a non stick pan add 2 tbsp. olive oil/ butter, pour the tomato puree and bring to a boil. Add salt, pepper powder, oregano , sugar and magie cube ( optional). Mix well. Now add chicken pieces and allow to cook for sometime. When half done, add mushroom , prawns and sausages and cook until done. Now add corn flour mixed with little water. The sauce thickens. Lastly stir in the fresh cream.
In a microwave dish place the cooked macaroni. Pour the thick sauce over it evenly. (optional) Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on the top, and microwave until cheese melts. Serve hot.
