Recipes - Karakaddi


500 gms. Gram flour (besan)

1 ½ tbsp. Garlic paste

½ tbsp. Ajwan

½ tsp. Chillie powder

Salt to taste

Oil for deep frying



Mix all the ingredients adding water. Knead well. Heat oil and press the mixture through karakaddi mould in the hot oil and fry till light brown. Store in airtight container.

    INSTEAD OF ajwain and garlic, use pepper powder, chilli powder and hing. Pour 2 tbsp hot oil to the kneaded dough and proceed for making karakaddi and once fried sprinkle chaat masala and store in an airtight container
