Mangaluru: St Aloysius College inaugurates NSS activities

Mangaluru, Sep 28: The inauguration of the activities of the NSS units of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) for 2020-21 was held on September 25 through Google meet.

Dr Nagarathna K A, the NSS coordinator of Mangalore University, inaugurated the NSS activities of 2020-21. Dr Richard Gonsalves, director of LCRI block, St Aloysius College, presided over the programme.

Alwin D'Souza, NSS programme officer introduced and welcomed the guests. He gave an audiovisual report on the previous year’s NSS activities in order to motivate the first-year students to take an active part in the association.

Dr Nagarathna K A in her inaugural address appreciated the volunteers and the officers for their great work during the previous academic year. She also inspired the new volunteers to continue the same during this academic year.



Dr Richard Gonsalves, in his presidential address explained the importance of being an NSS volunteer and appreciated the way needy people got benefited by the work which is done by the NSS volunteers of St Aloysius College, Mangaluru.

Jyothsna compered the programme. Babitha Rego, NSS volunteer proposed the vote of thanks.

The meeting concluded with the NSS anthem by Sharanya, an NSS volunteer.
