Mangaluru, Jul 17: The Yenepoya School (TYS) secured 100% results in CBSE Examinations 2020.

A total of fifty-two students appeared for the CBSE examinations. Anshu Mariam topped the school with 95%, followed by Ilham 93.2%, Sandi Meghna 92.8% and Nashwa Waheed 91%. Six students secured distinctions, while forty-four students secured high first division marks and two secured second division marks.
PU College image
In the pre-university board examination results, Yenepoya PU College secured an overall result of 95.8%. A total of one hundred and thirty eight students appeared for the PU board examinations. Maheen Mohammad topped the college securing 96.83% in Commerce and Nuha topped the Science stream securing 95.5%. A total of thirty-eight students secured distinctions, eighty-three students secured a very high first division and fifteen students secured a second division. Four students scored 100 percentile in Math and one student scored 100 percentile in Chemistry in Science stream.
In Commerce stream four students secured a perfect 100 in Business Studies, three students secured 100 percentile and one student secured 100 marks in Computer Science.
TYS students have achieved amazing results consistently in CBSE and PU Board Examinations since its inception. The focus in the school and PU college is to instil in the children a strong sense of values and self-discipline. The school and the PU college strongly emphasize certain important values like community concern, patriotism, quest for knowledge, taste of reading, dignity of labour, politeness, courtesy, respect for elders, tolerance and respect for all religions, importance of school an extended family etc. These values have stood the students in good stead in achieving their desired goals and aspirations in life.
