Rohtak, Oct 10: In a tragic incident early Friday, a man and two relatives lost their lives while transporting the body of ATS officer ASI Joginder Kaur from Jaipur to Rohtak, Haryana. The accident occurred around 4.30 a.m. on the 152D flyover when their car collided with a stationary truck.
Kaur, who had undergone a kidney transplant three to four years ago, passed away in Jaipur on Thursday due to related complications. Her family had travelled from Haryana to bring her body home.

The deceased have been identified as Kirat (24), son of Kaur, his aunt Krishna (61), and a relative from Sonipat, Sachin. They were following the ambulance carrying Kaur’s body when the crash occurred. The impact was severe, completely mangling the front of the car.
Police from Meham station reached the scene after receiving alerts and rescued the victims by cutting through the car windows. All four passengers were rushed to the hospital. While Kirat, Krishna, and Sachin were declared dead, a fourth passenger, the wife of ACB constable Dalbir, remains in critical condition at PGI Rohtak.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver may have dozed off during the journey, failing to notice the stationary truck. Both the car and truck have been seized, and the bodies are kept at the Civil Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination.
The accident has cast a shadow of grief over the family, turning what was meant to be a solemn journey into a devastating tragedy.
