Planned hike of INR 15000 for Hyundai Creta to take effect on third Quarter


Aug 1: Following the usual price hike trends as employed by the Korean manufacturer, Hyundai, Hyundai India is all set to hike the prices of Creta in the order of INR 15000. The hike in the prices of the car would be probably in effect in the month of September this year.

The price hike, however, did not come as a surprise to the dealers as the manufacturer usually plan a hike every third Quarter of the financial year in order to accommodate the increased overheads in terms of manufacturing and operational costs linked to their product portfolio, applicable across the globe.

The plans of the price hike for Hyundai Creta has been made official by Hyundai India, and has been formally communicated to all the dealers across the country so that the customers are informed of the price change well in advance. The company has also advised the dealers to aggravate their ordering process, and expedite the ordering of Creta at the earliest possible so as to circumvent the price hike of INR 15000, scheduled to take effect from September 2016.

Hyundai Creta had been launched in both petrol and diesel variants. The price points at which the petrol version of the car ranges from INR 9.17 lakh to INR 12.87 lakh, where as its diesel counterpart varies in the range of INR 10 lakh to INR 14.51 lakh, considering the ex-showroom prices based out of Delhi.
