In all four special teams have been created. The teams consist of subject experts under the leadership of DIET principal, team of DDPIs, team of sub plan coordinatoing officials and team of zonal educational officers. These teams visit the schools where the results are poor, listen to their issues and work to improve the results this year.

The education department is also making preparations to hold preparatory exams for SSLC at taluk, district and state levels. Taluk level examinations will be held durong this month while district level will be held in the month of February. State level preparatory examinations will be held in the month of March followed by the final examinations.

Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat CEO Dr Kumara said that special classes, additional classes on Saturdays and model question papers had been given to students of schools where the results are not upto the mark and attempt is being made to improve their results this year. My suggestion is first of all there must be uniform dress code all teachers. They coming to the school and Colleges as they show their branded different dresses daily when all students wearing uniforms. That dress divert the students in the classrooms. That's why results is poor nowadays. First set right the teachers, that what I believe.

First and foremost keep politics out from students. Never involve them for your selfish interest and in protests and Dharnas. Don’t recruit students in your rowdy organisations. Never in 75 years of independent Indian history has been like this.
