Mangaluru: Lorry collides head-on with motorbike, rider killed

Mangaluru, Sep 28: In an accident that took place near the Malali Cross on Ganjimutt-Malali road on Sunday September 27 evening, a motorbike rider was killed instantly after the two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision.

The motorbike rider, Yatish Kottary (35) resident of Kanekody at Oddor near Gantijkat, was killed in the accident. Yatish was moving in his motorbike towards his home when a truck coming from the opposite direction hit his vehicle. He died on the spot.

Yatish was an electrician by profession, the police said. Bajpe police have registered a case and investigations are on.
