Chennai, Feb 22: Sivaguru Prabhakaran's journey from a humble background to becoming an IAS officer is truly inspiring and demonstrates the power of determination and hard work.

Growing up in a family of farmers, Sivaguru witnessed first-hand the struggles his mother and sister faced to make ends meet. Despite the challenges, he did not let his circumstances define his future. Instead, he made a conscious decision to work towards his dream of becoming an IAS officer.

Initially, Sivaguru had to put his education on hold to support his family by working as an operator in a sawmill. However, he never lost sight of his goals. Even while working, he continued to educate himself and supported his siblings in their educational pursuits.

His dedication and perseverance paid off when he managed to secure admission to the Thandei Periyar Government Institute of Technology for civil engineering in 2008. Despite the financial constraints, Sivaguru remained undeterred and worked tirelessly to balance his studies with work commitments.

His determination only grew stronger after completing his undergraduate studies, and he went on to pursue a master's degree at IIT Madras. Despite facing numerous challenges along the way, Sivaguru remained focused on his ultimate goal of becoming an IAS officer.

After completing his post-graduation, Sivaguru devoted himself wholeheartedly to preparing for the UPSC exams. His hard work and dedication finally paid off when he cleared the exam on his fourth attempt, securing an impressive 101st rank nationwide.

Sivaguru's story serves as a reminder that with perseverance, dedication, and a strong will to succeed, one can overcome even the most daunting obstacles to achieve their dreams. His journey is a testament to the fact that no dream is too big and no goal is out of reach, as long as one is willing to put in the effort and never give up.
