Recipes - Raw Jackfruit Fry

8-10 Slices of tender raw jackfruit
2 tbsp. raw rice ( soaked in water for 30 mts. )
3 short red chillies
3 long red chillies
Pinch of asafetida (hing)
Salt as per taste
Oil for frying
Soak the jackfruit slices in salted hot water for about 10 mts. Drain and pat dry completely.
Grind chillies along with salt and hing. Add rice and further grind into a smooth paste. Dip the slices of jackfruit in this paste and coat evenly on all sides. Heat oil and deep fry the masala coated slices in hot oil until golden and crispy.
