Recipes - Sprouted Moong/Green Gram Sukka

1 cup sprouted moong (green gram)
2 tbsp. pea nuts
1 small onion (sliced)
1 small tomato (chopped)
½ tsp. mustard
¼ tsp. chilly powder
¼ tsp. garam masala powder
¼ “ piece jaggery
2 tbsp. of oil
1 sprig curry leaves


Powder the pea nuts and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard.  Add onion, curry leaves and sauté until pink and then add tomato, fry for a minute.  Add chilly powder, garam masala and jaggery.  Add green gram, salt and little water. Once cooked ,add pea nut powder and cook for 2-3 minutes.
