Udupi: 'Baduk' Tulu Film on HIV to be Released on Nov 28

Udupi, Nov 26: The premier show of Tulu feature film 'Baduk' will be screened at Alankar theatre here on Friday November 28.

The aim of the film is to promote Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) awareness among people, to change the societal understanding on HIV-affected people and to construct healthier society, said Leeladhar Shetty Kaup speaking at a press conference on Tuesday November 25.

The film is based on mythological, religious and social aspects.

The film has completed its shooting at Manipal, Malpe, Udupi, Parkala, Hiriyadka and Bangalore.

'Baduk' has been directed by Rajesh Ninjoor while Umesh Shetty has penned dialogues of the feature film. Suresh Hiriyadka is the lyricist while Vijay Kumar Kodialbail provided music. 

Amita Shetty, Leeladhar Shetty, Raghavendra Shettigar, Sandeep Suratkal, Satish Bhandary, Mamat Prakash Shetty, Ratnakar Shetty and Krishnanda Shetty have played the lead roles in the feature film.
