Mangaluru: Landslide near Circuit House, Bejai disrupts traffic movement

Mangaluru, July 17: A landslide was reported near Circuit House on Bejai Road late following continuous heavy rainfall, leading to partial disruption of traffic in the area.

The incident, which occurred due to the overnight downpour, caused soil and debris to slide onto the road, prompting authorities to temporarily divert traffic to a one-way system to ensure public safety.

 

No casualties have been reported. Officials concerned and traffic police rushed to the spot and have begun clearing operations. Commuters using the route have been advised to exercise caution and expect minor delays. The vehicular movement on the stretch has been made one-way temporarily.
