Hyderabad, Oct 31: The makers of director Mahesh Uppala’s upcoming romantic entertainer ‘Itlu Arjuna’, featuring Anish and Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles, on Saturday announced that the film will now release worldwide on November 13.
The film was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on October 30 but was subsequently postponed.
Announcing the revised release date on its X timeline, production house What Next Entertainments wrote, “Just mark your calendars. The wait is going to be 2X Worth. KING @iamnagarjuna presents, #ITLLUARJUNA worldwide grand release on November 13th. Arjun's love will be heard in theaters with a blast! A @MusicThaman Musical.”
A week ago, the makers had announced the postponement, stating, “We regret to inform that #ItlluArjuna will not be arriving on October 30th as planned. A new release date will be announced very very soon!! Until then, we seek your continued love and support for this young team. Rest assured, Arjun's love will be heard in theatres with a double bang! King @iamnagarjuna presents A @MusicThaman musical.”
The film is being produced by popular director Venky Kudumula under the banner of What Next Entertainments and presented by Telugu star Nagarjuna.
Well-known actress Anaswara Rajan plays the female lead, while Anish is making his debut as a hero. The film also marks Mahesh Uppala’s directorial debut.
The title glimpse and two songs released so far have generated considerable excitement among film buffs. The chemistry between the lead pair, showcased in the promotional content, has also caught the audience’s attention.
Industry sources say Anish will be seen portraying a speech- and hearing-impaired youth in the film.
The technical team includes S. Thaman, one of the leading music directors in the South, as composer, while Raja Mahadev is handling cinematography and Ram Kumar A is the production designer.
Koti K has taken charge of editing, while Dilip Subbarayan has choreographed the action sequences.
