Kasargod: Scooter rider comes under wheels of KSRTC bus, dies

Kasargod, Feb 28: A scooter rider died as he fell under a KSRTC bus at old bus stand on M G Road of the city on Tuesday February 28.

The deceased is identified as Fasil Tabseer (22), a resident of Kadavat Mogaru of Mogral Puttur.

A vehicle that was going ahead of Fasil’s scooter applied brakes suddenly as a result of which Fasil was thrown to the road and came under the back wheels of a KSRTC bus. A seriously injured Fasil was taken to the government hospital in the city but he died on the way.

The KSRTC bus was seized by the police. The mortal remains of the deceased are kept in the Kasargod general hospital.

Fasil was employed in a bakery in Mogral Puttur.

    Very sad .He was so young.One should always be careful when driving behind a bus.One should expect bus appleis brakes whatever the reason is.Seems bus had no fault here.But reason we dont know.May his soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy to the family.Too many vehicles on road and hardly anyone follows the rules .But ne who follows rules is punished .
