Mangaluru: Video of child driving car goes viral, netizens concerned

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Feb 27: A video of a child driving a four-wheeler is circulating on social media, causing concern among netizens.

In many cases, parents are eager to teach their underage children how to drive a car. They often record videos of their child driving and post them on various social media platforms.

An individual had shared a video in which a young child is given control of the steering wheel while seated on the driver's lap, without any support, while a co-passenger takes a video.

He had posted the video on his Facebook page neglecting the fact that it is always dangerous and irresponsible to let a child sit on the driver's seat and allow them to drive even for a short distance.

According to Section 180 of the Indian Motor Vehicle (IMV) Act, vehicle owners who violate the law may be punished with imprisonment of up to three months, a fine, or both.

Vehicles in India are 'RHD". Vehicles in middle east are "LHD". But you maybe right as this seems like a "LHD" vehicle driven outside India.
