Viral poster offers 'Left Kidney for Sale' to cover rent deposit

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Feb 27: A poster has been making rounds on social media that jokingly offers to sell a man's left kidney to cover the rent deposit. The poster caught the attention of Twitter user Ramyak, who shared it online.

According to the poster, the seller needs the money to pay the deposit for a rental house. The post, however, also includes a QR code and emphasizes that it is a joke.

The poster has sparked a conversation about the high cost of rent and deposits in Bengaluru. Twitter user Anita Rane commented on the situation, stating that the city is home to people from different parts of the country and various other nations, which requires creative marketing strategies to find suitable rentals.

Another Twitter user, Abhitosh, shared his experience of refusing to pay the exorbitant rent and deposit demanded by the house owner, stating that he had no interest in making the owner rich.

At a height of over 900 m (3,000 ft) above mean sea level, Bangalore has a pleasant climate throughout the year, with its parks and green spaces earning it the reputation as the "Garden City" of India. Its elevation is the highest among the major cities of India. It is called the silicon valley of India with highest number of such companies. It is also called the paradise of retired people. Considering the home rentals in Mumbai, the rentals here are reasonable. I have lived in Dakshina Kannada, Mumbai, Gulf and Canada, but Bangalore is the best city for living with the climate pleasant in all seasons. Owing to job opportunities, people from all states come and live here. Being the fastest growing city, the prices of apartments and villas are going up and so with the rentals.
