Udupi: Khan Bahadur Haji Abdulla Saheb remembered on 85th death anniversary

Udupi, Aug 12: Khan Bahadur Haji Abdulla Saheb had passed away on August 12, 1935, at the age of 53 years after achievements beyond his age.

He had donated more than 80% of his 700-acre land. He had donated a maternity hospital to Udupi and made several other contributions. He was the founder of the Corporation Bank.

His place of burial near the fish market was cleaned on Wednesday considering his service and Magbirat dua was held in the presence of a Muslim priest.



Muslim community members were present. SDI Jamat Maulana Fakre Alam performed dua.
