Noida, Jun 5: Two separate fire incidents were reported from different parts of Noida on Friday morning, prompting a swift response from the fire department and raising fresh concerns over fire safety in residential and commercial buildings.
A major fire broke out in a flat on the 12th floor of a high-rise tower at the Ivy County residential society in Sector 75. Firefighters rushed to the spot and launched an operation to contain the blaze. Officials later brought the fire under control and confirmed that no injuries or casualties were reported.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
In another incident, a fire was reported at a paying guest (PG) accommodation building in Shatabdi Vihar, Sector 52. The structure houses a restaurant on the ground floor, while the upper floors are used for residential accommodation. Two fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames.
Authorities said investigations are underway to ascertain the causes of both incidents.
The fires come at a time when the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police and Fire Department are conducting a week-long inspection and awareness drive across hotels and other establishments to strengthen compliance with fire safety regulations.
Officials have directed building owners to ensure that firefighting equipment remains functional, emergency exits are unobstructed and all prescribed safety norms are strictly followed.
The incidents have gained added significance in the wake of the recent fire tragedy at a hotel in Delhi's Malviya Nagar, where 21 people lost their lives after a blaze engulfed the building earlier this week.
