New Delhi, Jun 4: Xiaomi on Wednesday launched the Xiaomi 17T in India, expanding its flagship smartphone lineup with Leica-tuned cameras, a dedicated 5x periscope telephoto lens and a large 6,500mAh battery.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor and comes with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 out of the box and features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The Xiaomi 17T is priced at Rs 59,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 512GB model costs Rs 64,999.
As part of the launch offers, Xiaomi is providing an instant discount of Rs 5,000 on purchases made using select HDFC Bank, SBI Card, American Express and ICICI Bank cards. Customers can alternatively avail of a Rs 5,000 exchange bonus. HDFC Bank cardholders are also eligible for cashback of up to Rs 5,000.
With the bank discount applied, the effective prices come down to Rs 54,999 for the 256GB variant and Rs 59,999 for the 512GB model.
The smartphone will go on sale from June 10 through Xiaomi’s official website, Amazon and Xiaomi retail stores across India.
On the photography front, the Xiaomi 17T features a Leica-backed triple rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Leica 5x periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The telephoto camera offers a 115mm equivalent focal length for enhanced zoom photography.
The handset also includes Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop cooling system for improved thermal management during intensive tasks.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, NavIC and a USB Type-C port. The device comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
Powering the smartphone is a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 67W HyperCharge fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
Xiaomi is also offering up to 18 months of no-cost EMI, zero down payment options and an assured buyback value of 60 per cent within one year of purchase. Buyers will additionally receive complimentary subscriptions to Spotify Premium Standard for four months, YouTube Premium for three months and Google AI Pro for three months.
