Madikeri: Mortal remains of Hindu priest buried under hill found

Madikeri, Aug 8: National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team who conducted relentless search for five Hindu priests who were buried alive after a part of Tala Kaveri’s Brahagiri hill collapsed and fell on their houses, found a lifeless body on Saturday August 8.

The body has been identified as that of Ananda Theertha Swamiji, brother of chief priest of Talakaveri temple, Narayana Achar.

Four people including two priests hailing from Bantwal and Kasargod are still to be found. The search for them is in progress.
