Mangaluru, May 29: A private aircraft is expected to land at the international airport here from Dubai. The flight is awaiting permission from the directorate of civil aviation.

The flight will have 175 passengers. It had been booked last week. But for landing in India, the aircraft needs permission from the civil aviation directorate. The company operating the said aircraft has taken up the matter with the directorate and the flight will take off only after getting permission. This flight is expected to bring passengers here on May 29 or 30.

If this flight arrives, it will be the third flight from Dubai to land at Mangaluru after the lockdown was lifted, and the first private aircraft to do so.
