Mangaluru: A heartfelt appeal to help Praveen Josline Rodrigues

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (SB)

Mangaluru, Feb 3: Praveen Josline Rodrigues (46), a resident of Shakthinagar, Mangaluru, is currently undergoing treatment after suffering a serious medical emergency. Known among neighbours and friends for his humility, kindness and readiness to help others through labour work and voluntary service, Praveen has been the sole support for his family.

A few weeks after beginning the construction of a small house for his family, Praveen suddenly fell ill and was rushed to hospital for initial treatment. As his condition did not improve, doctors advised further specialised tests, following which he was diagnosed with an acute ischemic stroke caused by blood clots in the brain.

The diagnosis came as a severe blow to the family, which was already facing financial hardship due to house rent, children’s school fees and day-to-day expenses. With support from neighbours and relatives, the family decided to commence specialised treatment without delay.

Praveen is presently undergoing treatment at Father Muller Hospital. The estimated medical expenses are around Rs 4 lac, apart from the cost of essential post-treatment care required for his recovery.

Coming from a financially weak background, the family is unable to meet these expenses on its own. They have therefore appealed to the kind-hearted readers of Daijiworld to extend financial assistance to help save the life of their breadwinner.

Even a small contribution can offer significant relief and hope to the family.
