Rahul to Modi: Congrats. PM's reply: Thank you. Long live democracy!

New Delhi, Mar 11 (Agencies) : Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on their stunning victory in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. "I congratulate Shri. Narendra Modi and the BJP on their victory in Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand," the 46-year-old leader tweeted.

Moments later, Modi sent a reply from his personal handle, @narendramodi: "Thank you. Long live democracy!"

The exchange on Twitter brought the curtains down on a long and acrimonious campaign in the two states, and three others - Manipur, Punjab and Goa - as the two parties wooed their voters in the Assembly elections.

Earlier in the day, Modi had also made a congratulatory call to Captain Amarinder Singh of Punjab, where the Congress is poised to make a landslide return, beating the Akali Dal-BJP combine.

If they clarify, will the hate gang will stop hating him and love? no way..

when the slavery is neck deep, there is no way someone will suddenly start loving an upright indian with indian ethos. they will love hating for ever... so such people don't need clarification...LOL
