Srinivas University Aviation Studies team secures runner-up in women’s kabaddi tournament

Mangaluru, Oct 3: The students of the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, participated in the Srinivas University Intercollegiate Women’s Kabaddi Tournament 2026–2027, held on September 30 at the Srinivas University new campus, Pandeshwar. Organised by the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Srinivas University. The tournament witnessed spirited competition and provided an opportunity for students to showcase their teamwork, determination, coordination, and sporting skills.

The Institute of Aviation Studies women’s Kabaddi team displayed excellent coordination, team spirit, discipline, and determination throughout the tournament. Their impressive performance earned them the runner-up position and brought pride to the Institute of Aviation Studies. The achievement reflects the students’ dedication and commitment to excellence in sports.

The Institute of Aviation Studies congratulated the students and the entire team on this remarkable achievement and appreciated their hard work and sporting spirit.

The students also received valuable guidance and encouragement from Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies. SWO, HODs, sports coordinators, faculty members.
