Mangaluru, Sep 1: A case has been registered at the Pandeshwar police station regarding the disappearance of Bhaktani Kishore (19), a native of Andhra Pradesh, who had gone fishing on a deep-sea boat from the Mangaluru fishing harbour.
Kishore had arrived a month ago to work in the fishing sector and was employed on a boat owned by Mohammed Faizal.
On August 23 at around 3 am, the boat carrying 12 people left the fishing harbour for fishing. While fishing in the sea, at around 5 am on August 25, Kishore sat on the edge of the boat with the help of a rope to attend to nature's call.

At that time, he lost his balance due to a strong sea wave and fell into the water.
The other fishermen on the boat and those on nearby fishing boats were informed about the incident. They searched for Kishore by casting nets into the sea, but he could not be traced, according to the complaint filed by Kishore's father.
