Mangaluru, Aug 31: Faculty Development Programme on Moxibustion held at Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences College and Hospital Mangaluru, 29 August 2026 from 9:30am to 04:00pm
Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences College and Hospital (YNYSCH), Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), successfully organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Moxibustion” on 29 August 2026. The programme was organized with the objective of promoting academic enrichment and enhancing the knowledge and practical skills of faculty members and interns.



The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Yenepoya Faculty Development Centre (YENFDC). The programme was coordinated by Dr Padmashree, YENFDC convenor, along with Dr Ajith K and Dr Abhijna, YENFDC Members.
The session was led by Dr Gurudatta, founder of Anandamaya Wellness Center and consultant, Kshemavana wellness centre, Bangalore who served as the resource person. He delivered an insightful session on the principles, therapeutic applications, and practical aspects of Moxibustion. His valuable expertise and practical insights provided the participants with a deeper understanding of this traditional therapeutic technique and its relevance in integrative healthcare.
Faculty members from various departments, along with interns, actively participated in the programme. The session provided an enriching platform for participants to expand their knowledge and explore the therapeutic applications of Moxibustion.
