Kadaba: Man returns bag of valuables found on road to rightful owner

Daijiworld Media Network – Kadaba (MS)

Kadaba, May 24: In an exemplary display of honesty, a person who found a bag containing valuables that had fallen on the road returned it to the rightful owner at Kalara near Kadaba on Wednesday.

Chethan, a resident of Kallugudde Mapala, was going to Mangaluru from Kadaba on his bike on Wednesday. His bag fell on the road near Kalara, but Chethan was unaware of this. When he reached Alangaru, Chethan noticed that his bag was missing and immediately posted about it in a WhatsApp group. The message was shared by other members of the group as well.

Meanwhile, Ismail BDS, a resident of Kalara, found the bag on the road. When he opened the bag, he saw golden ornaments worth Rs five lakh and a laptop. He also checked his WhatsApp and saw the message about the lost bag. He contacted the owner through mobile phone, called him to his place, and returned the bag.

Ismail’s honest act is appreciated by everyone.
