Udupi, Apr 20: Daijiworld TV 24x7 consistently delivers creative and high-quality programs, entertaining its audience. Now, with the Daijiworld Swara Sagara competition, it offers a platform to showcase hidden talents.
Daijiworld Udupi, under the banner of Kishoo Enterprises, is all set to provide talented singers with an opportunity to showcase their hidden talent in the field of singing.
The Daijiworld Swara Sagara singing competition logo was unveiled by Tulunadu Manikya Arvind Bolar and Walter Nandalike, managing director of Daijiworld Media Group, at the Daijiworld office in Udupi. Kevin Rodrigues, manager operations, and staff of the Daijiworld Udupi office were also present on the occasion.
Daijiworld Swara Sagara, dubbed as an ocean of melodies, is a singing competition aimed at discovering hidden talents. This exciting initiative promises to offer a fresh platform for aspiring singers, with the entire series set to air exclusively on the Daijiworld TV 24x7 channel.
The auditions for the competition will take place on Sunday, May 26, at the premises of St Mary's English Medium School, Kannarpady, Udupi. The competition will consist of multiple rounds, with auditions serving as a crucial initial step. This initiative aims to showcase and nurture musical talent within the region while maintaining fair and transparent competition standards.
The last date for submission of entries will be Sunday, May 19.
Rules for the competition:
• Participants must be above 16 years old to be eligible.
• Participants must have knowledge of music, including notes, tempo, and other musical aspects.
• Each participant can perform for 2-3 minutes during the auditions.
• Songs in Kannada and Hindi languages are acceptable for the audition rounds.
• Keyboards will be provided by the organizers during the audition rounds.
• Songs that insult or hurt any person's caste, religion, or sentiments are not allowed.
• Certificates will be given to all contestants who participate in the auditions.
• Golden Mic winners from the audition rounds will receive direct entry into the next level.
• Selected participants must be present during each round of the competition and during recording sessions.
• The competition will consist of various rounds, and all recordings will take place at the Daijiworld Udupi studio.
• Participants must include the YouTube link of the song they will perform during the audition rounds and mention the link during the registration process.
• The decision of the jury is final.
• The organizer reserves the right to change or cancel the programme at any time.
• Participants have the chance to win cash prizes worth Rs 1,00,000 (first, second, and third place) along with trophies.
