Bantwal: Driver runs car into mosque compound - Five injured

Bantwal, Oct 22: In an incident that occurred on Tuesday, October 22, the driver lost control of his car and hit it into the compound wall of a mosque by the road side. 

This incident took place near Farangipet on NH 75. 

Five people have been injured in the accident. 

The compound wall of the mosque has been damaged. 

The entire incident was captured on the CCTV that is installed in the mosque.

    Shankara got confused...!!!!! however there is an iota of truth..., usually this happen in Car street (perceived as nationalist/culturalist zone) where the shops & building usually encroach pedestrian path & road all the time....!!!!

    Thank God the wall was there to protect other people from more injurys and more.Quite possible car was not in order and he could not stop it..Take it as Gods blessing that not more people are injured.wish all of them fast recovery.

    I think for the few survivors who missed narrowly Allah the almighty God has accepted their prayers.

    This may be the case of poor execution of road widening. If this is some heavy vechile then situation might have been worse.

    It is better to erect some solid iron bars or concrete pillars outside the periphery of the compound in such a case.

    I glad that no lives have been lost.

    Just have a look- one person just got down the stairs & was bending while at the same time the car flew over his head knocking the wall, most probably he was hit by flying masonary pieces of bricks but was saved in nick of time too.
