Dubai, Jul 15: United Loretto Friends (ULF), successfully organized its fourth blood donation drive in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and in association with KLM Group, under the dedicated guidance of Balakrishna Salian. The event, held on Sunday, July 12, witnessed an overwhelming response, with 126 people participating, of whom 112 successfully donated blood, making a valuable contribution towards saving lives.
The success of the initiative reflected the strong spirit of community, compassion, and unity demonstrated by volunteers, donors, and supporters. The active association and support of KLM Group contributed significantly to the smooth execution of the event.





The felicitation ceremony was hosted by Preethi Seema D'Souza. During the event, Balakrishna Salian was honoured in appreciation of his dedicated guidance and continued support towards the blood donation initiative. KLM Group, represented by Khushel D'Souza and Leena D'Souza, was also felicitated in recognition of the company's valuable association and support for the blood donation drive. Our member Floyd Kiran Moras was honoured for his remarkable achievement of donating blood for the 44th time, reflecting his outstanding commitment to humanitarian service and inspiring others to embrace voluntary blood donation.
ULF president Donald Noronha, along with the executive committee and members, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), KLM Group, volunteers, supporters, and every blood donor whose selfless contribution made the fourth edition of the blood donation drive a resounding success.
As a token of appreciation, all successful donors were presented with certificates and refreshments in recognition of their generous act of kindness and to encourage continued participation in future life-saving initiatives.
