Bengaluru: MLA Roshan Baig likely to be arrested in IMA scam

Bengaluru, Jul 11: MLA Roshan Baig was issued a notice by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to appear for inquiry in the IMA case on Thursday, July 11. It said that, there is a possibility of arresting Roshan Baig once the inquiry is over.

SIT official Girish arrived to the office of the assembly speaker on Thursday, July 11 and it is said that he will discuss with the speaker about the issue of Roshan Baig. It is learnt that Roshan Baig will be arrested once the speaker gives his permission.

Roshan Baig's name is linked with multi-crore IMA scam. The inquiry of the same is also in progres. As Roshan Baig is a MLA, SIT has to get permission from the speaker, if he has to be taken into custody by the SIT. As DCP Girish has arrived to the office of the speaker, it is said that there is a high possibility of the arrest of MLA Roshan Baig.

The deputy commissioner of Bengaluru city is already under the custody for three days with regard to the case of IMA. He has been arrested on the accusation of taking Rs 1.5 crore as bribe to give clean chit to IMA in February 2019.

    All along Roshan Baig has been a tainted man. He has somehow escaped the long hand of the law. It is not time to show him that he is not above the law. The timing of his joining the BJP by any stretch of imagination can't be a co-incidence. He has sensed that the BJP is in a better position to rescue him from the clutches of the law. Hence his sudden new found love for the party. The BJP has been going around telling the whole country that it is against corruption. Can this party, therefore, please explain why the likes of S.M. Krishna and Roshan Baig are welcomed into the party with open arms? The BJP should not lose sight of the fact that Roshan Baig has sided with those who have robbed the hard earned savings of the poor people.

    IMA scam, is a creation, by a three headed syndicate, Mansoor Khan, Politicians and Babus !!!! These three headed snake, in unison, have looted the investor's .... If collectively, these three are not prosecuted then, it is certain that no investor, will receive back, even a single paisa, of their hard earned money !!!!
