Mangaluru, Apr 18: A pregnant woman exercised her franchise in the Lok Sabha election before taking part in the baby shower ceremony scheduled for Thursday April 18. The woman, with firm belief in democratic processes, visited the polling booth at Ramashrama school at Konchady here and voted for the candidate of her choice.

Kavya Sanjeeva, a resident of Mugarodi, came to the polling station with her mother and cast her vote in polling station no 138.

Kavya has been a resident of Philippines since the last several years. Kavya's husband works in Philippines.

After casting her vote, Kavya expressed her happiness and said, "voting is my right and I don't want to waste it. Today my family members have arranged for my baby shower ceremony. But they advised me to cast my vote before the ceremony began. So I dressed up and came to the polling station. I request everyone, who have not planned to cast their votes, to rush to the polling stations immediately and exercise their voting right."

It's awareness duty created by her around. Done it nicely. Some people hesitate to venture out due to laziness and bad extreme weather. How hard they pressurise ..at the end bjp is going to win.

Ceremonies like this are planned much much earlier than the election is declared. Baby Shower is done on 7th Month and auspicious day and time.... so, cannot be Publicity stunt. even if is, so it be. She made it a point to case her vote at any cost.
