Shuttler Lee Chong Wei's B sample returns positive for dexamethasone


Kuala Lumpur, Nov 8 (IANS): Top Malaysian shuttler Lee Chong Wei's B sample result was confirmed to be positive for dexamethasone.

Local English-language newspaper The Star said Saturday that the badminton ace dope test's B sample returned positive dexamethasone, reports Xinhua.

The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) is expected to make an official announcement at a press conference Saturday.

Lee faces a two-year ban, but would have a chance for a hearing with the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
