Mumbai, Nov 4: Actor Rajpal Yadav has revealed his unusual lucky charm for delivering hit films, saying that movies in which his characters get beaten up often turn out to be successful.
During his appearance on ‘Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’, the actor shared a light-hearted moment with the host, who pointed out that Rajpal getting thrashed by his co-stars was a recurring feature in several popular films.

Rohit cited films such as ‘Bhaagam Bhaag’, ‘Khatta Meetha’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ before jokingly asking whether getting beaten up had become Rajpal's lucky charm.
Agreeing with the observation, Rajpal replied with his trademark humour, “Yes, jis mein hum peete the, woh film hit hoti hai” (Yes, the films in which I get beaten up become hits). His response drew laughter and applause from the audience.
Over the years, Rajpal has entertained audiences through comic roles involving slapstick humour and chaotic situations. His performance as Gullu in ‘Bhaagam Bhaag’ (2006) and Chhote Pandit in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ (2007) remain among his memorable roles.
He also featured in ‘Khatta Meetha’ (2010), alongside Akshay Kumar, and several other comedy entertainers, including ‘Hungama’, ‘Waqt: The Race Against Time’, ‘Chup Chup Ke’, ‘Dhol’, ‘Partner’, ‘De Dana Dan’ and ‘Phir Hera Pheri’.
