Trezeguet likely to stay off the field in Kolkata

Kolkata, Nov 6 (IANS): French World Cup winning striker David Trezeguet is likely to sit out his side FC Pune City's Indian Super League engagement with Atletico de Kolkata here Friday.

A source said the management was considering not fielding the club's marqee player on the Salt Lake Stadium's artificial turf, which has caused injury to a number of players.

"It is a very long tournament, after all," the source said.
